Just for fun, I explored the new ChatGPT 4o image transition capabilities. I wanted to see if AI could inject some joy into a dreary scene 😀 . I started with an AI-generated image of an unhappy older man sitting alone, washed out and cold, and asked ChatGPT:
"Turn this into a joyful, well-dressed older gentleman in an expensive suit, surrounded by vibrant, cheerful colors."
The transformation was impressively easy—just upload the image and prompt the change.
Check out this video showcasing some of the results from tests! Notably, the Python script used to compile these images into a video was generated by Gemini 2.5 Pro. This was a code-only solution, no video editors used!
